A soft colour palette, creamy finishes, and just the right amount of play make this galley kitchen feel like a treat, all without sacrificing an ounce of function.
This sweet, soft-toned kitchen was all about balance: warmth and lightness, beauty and utility, storage and flow. The layout may be narrow, but every inch was considered to make the space feel open, calm, and quietly joyful.
The client came to us with a clear wish list—more counter space, better storage, and a place that felt peaceful but not boring. We answered with soft blue cabinetry, warm white oak details, and terrazzo floors that add subtle texture and play. The millwork was carefully planned to maximize function, including a tall pantry and a thoughtful open shelf that draws your eye to the arched opening at the end of the room.
We'd be remiss if we didn't give special mention to the perfectly pink accent lighting in the space. We always love an unexpected pop of colour, and these fixtures successfully brought two oh-so-sweet hues (and a whole lot of sweetness) to this kitchen's palette!
A galley kitchen doesn’t have to be boring, in fact, they can be the exact opposite. This kitchen proves this point to be true by serving up a space that feels functional, layered, and full of personality.
Every material choice was made with intention to keep things feeling light. There’s a softness to the space that’s hard to describe—but easy to feel.
