Curve appeal

Some projects are all about the details—and this one was shaped (literally) by a single, beautiful tile.

The moment our client saw this tile, she was in. Rectangular in form, with an oval inset in the centre, it had just the right mix of modern and vintage, sculptural and soft. That little curve became our jumping-off point—and we ran with it.

We echoed the shape throughout the space: an arched mirror above the vanity, a softly curved niche for styling and storage, and gentle lines that brought a sense of rhythm and calm. The palette stayed warm and simple to let the shapes lead, creating a bathroom that feels both graphic and inviting.

Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing but, in this bathroom's case, this well-known theory definitely did not apply!

It started with one playful tile and rolled into an entire space shaped by curves.

The best part? Our client was totally game. She leaned into the creative process, trusted the vision, and brought such a joyful energy to every decision. It made the whole project not just beautiful, but genuinely fun.
