Counter offer
This kitchen was all about finding the balance between what the client thought they wanted and what the space truly needed. The kind of project that proves even compact kitchens can have big potential.

When we first met, the clients were set on keeping their small, square island—a layout that felt familiar, but wasn’t doing them any favours. They also dreamed of adding a second oven, but with limited space, it quickly became clear: something had to give.
So we made our counter offer.
By shifting to a galley-style layout, we were able to triple their counter space, seriously increase storage, and create a kitchen that functions and flows beautifully. The second oven found its home, the prep space grew exponentially, and suddenly, the whole room just made sense.
Ultimately, as in all of the best kitchens, functionality drove every detail of this renovation. The reinvented layout allows the entire family to use the space simultaneously without crowding. This kitchen feels calm and grounded, yet completely alive to the rhythm of everyday life.

The finishes took it all to the next level. A dramatic yet organic-looking Caesarstone porcelain countertop became the showstopper, echoing the warm tones in the handcrafted backsplash tiles. And thankfully the clients didn’t shy away from adding extra personality—opting for a bold, graphic wallpaper that brings a sense of fun and energy to the space.
In the end, this kitchen is thoughtful, creative, and just the right mix of practical and playful - the recipe for a perfect kitchen if you ask us!
