Completely floored
Sometimes, the whole room turns on one decision. In this case, it was the floor tile.

This project was all about the hunt. The clients had a clear vision—no cool tones, no blues—just warm, happy colours like reds, pinks, and yellows. We scoured the earth (almost literally) in search of the perfect tile. After looking at countless options, we found the one. It had just enough character, just enough colour—and just enough edge to make the space sing.
It was a bit of a risk. The blue in the tile wasn’t a perfect match to the palette and definitely pushed our clients slightly out of their comfort zone, but we had a hunch it would be magic in place—and we were right.
But one solemn morning we received an email that shattered us: the tile was no longer in production. BUT, when you're as obsessed with the perfect tile as we are, you don't give up easily. In the end we managed to track down the last 85 square feet… in Spain. And while it made its way across the Atlantic on a very slow boat while we crossed our fingers and waited, it did not disappoint when it arrived and was installed!

Finding the perfect floor tile felt like fate—with just enough warmth, just enough whimsy, and exactly enough square footage left… halfway across the world.
Playful and warm, the tile completely transformed the space. Balanced by rich red walls, the result is a bathroom that feels cheerful, layered, and totally one-of-a-kind.
